Facebook Mafia War cheats are often strategies for advancing in the game and making a stronger, wealthier mob. Strategies include growing the mob family and wealth.
For every computer game available, on-line or offline, there are secret codes or cheats to get players ahead in the game quickly. Google "Facebook Mafia War cheats" and the reader will be rewarded with a barrage of sites claiming to have the secret cheats or codes.
There are some scripts out there to automate a few actions of the game. One script touts that it automatically sends friend invites to players in the fight window. It may or may not work all the time. Players can advance faster by strategizing instead of hunting cheats.

Grow the Family

In Mafia Wars, players form mob families by inviting other Facebook members to join. The more family members a mob has, the stronger they are. The first and ultimately most important key to advancing is to keep the mob family growing. This can be done in a couple of ways:

  • Players invite all of their friends to join
  • Link to other players on one of the many ‘add me’ pages in FB, thousand of players network on these pages
  • Reciprocate when players join their mob family – Mafia War players can be members of more than one mob.

Family Defense

Family members need to be able to defend themselves. It is up to the Boss to make sure each team member has defensive tools. As the family accumulates wealth, the boss should make sure each member has weapons, vehicles, etc.
  • Initially, funds will be low, the Boss should focus on growing wealth in order to take care of family
  • As wealth is accumulated, Boss should purchase each member of family more weapons

Increase the Wealth

Each Mob Boss will have different strategies for accumulating wealth. Some families focus on more jobs and payouts while other families are more involved in property acquisitions. These strategy tips will help increase the family wealth regardless of the ultimate goal:
  • In the early levels of game play, purchase properties with a low investment cost and decent return rate. Mafia Mike’s Delis are an excellent choice; however, the number available for purchase is dependent on the number of family members.
  • As the money increases purchase high end properties – the key is to purchase as many as possible at one time. Once a purchase is made, the price increases for the next purchase.
  • Beware of the upkeep cost of some high end weapons and vehicles. Make sure money flow is sufficient to cover the costs.

Using Points Strategically

With each level up, players are given reward points by the Godfather. These can be used to increase a variety of attributes, such as attack, defense, energy and more. Where to apply these points depends on the Mafia Boss’ strategy.

  • Knocking off rivals and going for kills: this strategy requires using reward points to increase attack, defense, and stamina attributes. This allows the player to knock off other mobs and engage in more fights while staying strong themselves.
  • Money Accumulation: this strategy requires putting most reward points into the energy level. Energy enables the family to do more jobs, thus acquiring more money.
Mafia War players also have the option of buying reward points from the Godfather, if they so choose. Additionally, there are often special weapons or incentives available that can only be purchased with reward points.
Mafia Wars is an extremely popular game that has become the rage around the world. Players who are looking for shortcuts to bypass the actually playing of the game might not find what they are looking for, however, employing a few secrets to advancing their mob can prove to be just as valuable. Facebook Mafia Wars Rewards Points

Earning More Favors

Mafia Wars Rewards points allow players to obtain favors from the Godfather, like more energy. These points lead to advanced game play. Here is how to obtain them easily.
Mafia Wars for Facebook has an interesting spin on the Godfather. Reward points that can be earned through various aspects of the game. Reward points are given by the Godfather as players level up to the next level, but not on every level. Reward points can also be obtained by doing favors for the Godfather as he indicates on this page in the game.
Reward points can be traded in for different items. Often there will be a special weapon or gift located on the homepage that can only be obtained using reward points. These gifts usually carry more defense and attack points than typical inventory weapons and so are much more valuable to have. Other items that can be bought with Reward points include:

  • Full Health Refills
  • Full Stamina Refills
  • Full Energy Refills
  • “X” Amount of Players added to Family
  • “X” Amount of Cash
  • Surprise Gift
Occasionally there might be more gifts to choose from. More information on Reward points can also be found in Confessions of a Capo: Mafia Wars Strategy Guide. Of all the rewards, the Energy refill can be the most beneficial in advancing in game play. This refill allows more jobs to be completed and in turn more levels to be completed.

Obtaining Rewards Points

Waiting to get Rewards points from the Godfather is a slow process, however, for the more serious gamers there are alternative methods. These methods include:
  • Purchasing Reward Points: Reward points can be purchased in varying amounts starting at $5 for 10 points. This money goes to run Zynga, the company that runs the game on Facebook.
  • Reward Points Free Offers: Underneath the “Purchase Points” section on the Godfather page there is a listing that is sortable. Click on “Free” and all of the free offers that result in added Reward points appear. For example, one coupon website gives free Rewards points just for downloading and installing their toolbar. The toolbar can be removed without affecting Reward points once they are in your game. There are a lot more free offers that give points.
  • Reward Points for Purchases or Trial Offers: These yield the most reward points. Credit reporting companies, identity protections companies and more offer free reward points for trying their service. They offer a one month, no obligation free trial. Once the application is completed and the credit card information is verified, the reward points are credited. Because these are trial offers, there are no fees as long as the service is cancelled within the time frame in the details.
Obtaining Rewards points is not difficult but it does take a little time. To seriously move up in game play getting more points is the most vital aspect as it allows more jobs to be completed. Earning favors from the Godfather can be the result of hard work or it can be from cold, hard cash, either way the results are more completed jobs and more levels climbed in the Family. Mafia Wars Game

Mafia Wars is a highly addictive multiplayer browser game created by Zynga, and is being played by millions of players around the world on social networking sites such as Tagged, Facebook, and Twitter. It is also quite a challenge to master Mafia Wars because of the large number of crew member in rival families. Oops! Looks like I was getting ahead of myself. Let's get down to the basics first.
Gameplay consists of doing jobs which requires a pool of energy. Fighting with other players requires health and stamina. The energy, health, and stamina requirements vary with the character class you select. There are three character classes, and they are called Mogul, Fearless, and Maniac. Once you open an account you will have to select a class for your player, and once you select one, you won't be able to change it back again. But don't worry, because you can always open a new account and start with another character class if you didn't like your previous character class. A quick overview shows that the Mogul character can earn more money, the Maniac character recovers energy quickly, and the Fearless character can do a certain amount of jobs for no energy at all!
Levelling up while doing jobs awards the player with experience points and godfather points. These should be used to increase your skills and weapon stats. There a total of five skills the player should develop. They are namely attack, defense, health, energy, and stamina. Having a high attack increases your chances of winning, because your attacks will be more powerful. A higher defense allows you to repel enemy attacks. Having more health allows you to survive longer in fights. More energy allows you to do more jobs quickly and thus level up easily, and more stamina allows you to do more attacks without tiring up.
An important aspect is of Mafia Wars is to build up your crew, so that your back will be covered in an intense fight. You can invite friends from social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace. Request them to join you with a nice personal message with your recruitment link so that they wouldn't delete it as spam. Actually it doesn't matter whether your friends plays or not after joining because what is most important is the size of the family, but make sure it doesn't grow too much or you will have trouble managing your family!
You will start in New York first where you will have to build up your family while levelling up. You will take on various kinds of jobs, where you will have to buy different kinds of equipment in order to do each particular job. Remember to spend your skill points wisely based on your character class. Another way to increase your scores is by visiting the Godfather or by making a micropayment.
Once you reach Level 35 you can fly off to Cuba to start you criminal empire there too. There's also Moscow and Bangkok in later levels plus several new upcoming expansions too!
These are just the key points explained simply without going into much detail. Want to know how to master mafia wars? Just Click Here!

[edit] Platforms

Mafia Wars is available on Facebook, Tagged, Sonico, Yahoo!.[3] and as an iPhone App.[4]
On Facebook, as of October 2009, Mafia Wars has 25.9 million monthly active accounts.[5] Some players and clans create multiple accounts to utilize the benefits of the three basic character builds (Fearless, Maniac, and Mogul).

[edit] Gameplay

Mafia Wars is set in New York City and Little Italy, with the option for players to travel between New York, Cuba (level 35+), Moscow (level 70+) and Bangkok (upon unlocking items from New York levels, level 18+). In 2010, Paris, London and South Africa are introduced as challenge missions (which are available for a limited time). Las Vegas is released in July 28th as the fifth city available. The game revolves around doing and mastering jobs to earn cash and experience, with the goal of establishing and advancing one's criminal empire.[6] Players create mafias by recruiting players and using reward points to hire extra mafia members. Social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Friendster allow players to recruit from friends to build their mafia and fight against other players.[6][7] Players can also improve their stats by visiting the Godfather (ie, making a micropayment).[6]
Gameplay revolves around timers: players have limited energy (for doing jobs), and health and stamina meters (for fighting other players), in a manner similar to an RPG(role playing game),[8] which slowly recharges over time. With the help of other mafia members that have been recruited, players can eventually fight other players, which may or may not result in the theft of cash, "icing", or "death" of the other player. The game operates on a level up basis. The player earns experience points by completing jobs. Players who manage to complete special tasks (for example, winning fights against bigger mafias or winning fifteen fights in a row) are labeled as having accomplished an "achievement", resulting in a bonus for the player. As they level up, more jobs and features become available, such as the ability to visit Cuba to expand their criminal empire.
After a significant in-game marketing blitz, Zynga added a new city, Moscow, on September 24, 2009.[9] Once a player reaches level 70, they are granted access to Moscow, and they get to choose between the Thieves in Law Vory or the Russian Mafiya. On January 20, 2010, Bangkok Beta was released with some players being granted acess to it, but some not. This is to prevent too many people from going to Bangkok which may cause the system to crash.[10] In Bangkok, players will be able to choose from the Triad and the Yakuza. The upcoming region Las Vegas, came out June 23 2010 as a beta, and July 21, 2010 out of beta.[11] The ranks and episodes are: Street Thug, Associate, Soldier, Enforcer, Hitman, Capo, Consigliere, Underboss, and Boss in New York; El Soldado, El Capitan, El Jefe, El Patron, El Padrino, and El Cacique in Cuba; Baklany, Boets, Brigadir, Avtoritet, Vor, and Pakhan in Moscow; Brawler, Criminal, Pirate, Commandant, Oyabun, Dragon Head, Saboteur and Assassin in Bangkok.
Character Classes
There are three classes that a player has to choose from when they first start the game. Each class offers a reduced amount of recharge time to one of the three timers. The three classes are:
Maniac: This class has an energy recharge timer of three minutes, unlike the other two classes which have a timer of five minutes. Also the Buttonman position is only available for Maniacs
Mogul: This class gets 40% more money from jobs in all cities. Also, the Top Mafia Bagman position is only for Moguls.
Fearless: This class receives a stamina recharge time reduction (every 3 minutes as opposed to the usual 5). Also, only Fearless players can be a Wheelman in a person's Top Mafia

Character class can be changed by the user by buying a preferred class for 15 Godfather points.
